REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Proline

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-1050 Rapidly press 0 as it loads which will give you a message
"Title 07/07 Chapter 02/02"

Eject and reload the DVD and rapidly press the number from title - in this
case 7.
Now it is region1 and 2. I do not have any other regions to test with

Now when you load a DVD rapidly press 0 to get to the message again but the
cursor is inside the Chapter
"Title 07/07 Chapter <green cursor>/02"

Press the number of the chapters - in this case 2 to play the movie.


It disables most of the remote, including the useful Menu button.		   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-1000 Region 1 mode:

1.  Open the player disc tray.
2.  Press 0, 1, 2, 3 on the remote control.
3.  Put a region 1 disc in the tray.
4.  Press PLAY.

Return to region 2 mode:

1.  Open the player disc tray.
2.  Press ENTER then PLAY on the remote control.
3.  Put a region 2 disc in the tray.
4.  Press PLAY.

DVD-2000 Region-free for one disc only:

1.  Press the MENU, 1, 6, 7 on the remote control.
2.  Press the MUTE button on the remote control.
3.  Exit the menu and insert the disc on the remote control.

Another (slightly different) method:

1. Make sure there is no disc in the player.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Menu, 1, 6, 7.
3. Press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or alternatively Mute button on your remote control for All Regions.

To convert this player for VCD playback

1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray.
2. Place an audio CD in the drive tray.
3. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray.
4. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
5. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
6. Press the Index (1-All) button on your remote control.
7. Press the Open button on your remote control.
8. Press the 1 button on your remote control.

DVD150HT 1. Open the drive tray.
2. Press buttons 9, 8, 1, 7 on the remote, one at a time and in order.
3. You will now be in the hidden menu, where you can change the region code (1-6) or use 9 for region-free.
4. You can also disable Macrovision in this menu.
